Apply for a Scholarship

Salsa Para Todos works to provide financial assistance to those who would otherwise be unable to take partner dance classes.  Submitting an application is not a guarantee of assistance. Please be prepared to provide proof of financial need as part of your application.  

For existing Salsa Con Todo community members (those having participated in a team or series class for three months or longer) may apply for assistance due to immediate life qualifying events, including the loss of employment, medical hardship, or family hardship.

Benefits can be provided for up to a maximum of three consecutive months. Please be prepared to provide proof of financial need as part of your application. If you prefer to self-report and not provide proof of need, financial assistance is still available at a limited capacity. 

Class attendance and community involvement will influence the granting of future benefits.

If approved for assistance through Salsa Para Todos, you will be expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct below.

• You must maintain a minimum of a 75% attendance rate.

• Application decisions made by the board of directors are final and eligibility is renewed by another life event or after six months .

• You have a duty to inform SPT in the event that the qualifying life circumstance for receiving benefits has changed and is no longer applicable.

• Students are required to follow all rules of dance school.  Any breach of conduct will result in revocation of financial support and disqualification from further benefit eligibility.

• Scholarship applications are reviewed quarterly. Approved applicants must submit documentation by the given deadline; late submissions may delay eligibility to the next cycle.
